It was a very poorly disguised Natsu. Not that any disguise would’ve fooled her. His spiky pink hair peeked out from beneath a short brown wig and his olive eyes were as sharp as ever. Lucy noticed the hint of stubble on his chin and almost giggled.
She also noticed the new heaviness now set into his face. In the wrinkles that formed on his forehead, or the smile lines that faded. She’d assume so. Getting Fairy Tail back together was not an easy feat, and it wasn’t going too well either. She’d only known they got the main members back after looking over their registration application.
Her expression was eerily blank while he gawked at her, holding the bleeding spot on his forehead with two scarred hands.
“Shit,” he mumbled.

“It’s not my fault you don’t like girls!” Mike yelled, rain pouring behind the both of them. They stood in silence for a moment, before Will backed away. “I’m not trying to be a jerk.” Mike murmured.
Before anything else could be said between the two, Will got on his bike, riding away into the rain. Mike stood there, watching in disbelief. He’d surely be fine, right?
The next day at school, they didn’t speak to each other. Will would have to change his mind sometime soon. Then a week passed, and then a month. Eventually Mike gave up all hope of ever speaking to Will once again.
Years later, Will is pursuing an art degree at a university in New York, and he moves into an apartment complex.
One of his neighbors rushed out of their apartment, knocking door to door to see if anyone’s phone worked. He was on a very important business call! The neighbor runs up to Will, speaking so fast that it was nearly nonsense. Will looks up to see he has strikingly familiar features. Who else would it be besides Mike Wheeler himself, in the flesh.
“Mike?” He caught the others' attention.
Mike’s eyes widen as he slightly backs up, bumping into the wall. “Will.”

Aizawa is tired. The building is falling apart. Deku is still taking notes at the worst possible moments. Kirishima thinks everything is “kinda intense.” And Emma is convinced she is the main character in a cursed music video that may or may not involve destiny, explosions, and emotional confusion.
Plot is optional. Grammar is worse. Reality is negotiable.
