Living with Rubeaus Hagrid during the school year, the odd little girl amuses herself taking excursions into the Dark forest, finding herself meeting wonderful and terrifying creatures alike. During the Holidays she is forced to contend with a caregiver who doesn't seem to know HOW to care, and a man grieving for the loss of the women he loved, but perhaps even Severus can learn to care.
This fic spans from beginning to post Deathly hollows with leaps between the series. This retelling of Baldur’s Gate 3 keeps the same faces and places you know, while lingering on the moments I wanted more of: relationships that are messy, deeper interactions with the people of Faerûn, and more grounded, realistic reactions to the events of the game. The story weaves in expanded D&D lore and incorporates images captured in photo mode. Romance is present, but so is genuine love between friends and found family, building upon the foundation created by Larian.
This fic began as an emotional outlet for me. I began writing it in 2025, when my 9-5 science career was in turmoil, and I needed an escape. Fiodhan is a faithful expression of who I am as a person, and naturally, as a nerd, I fell head over heels for Gale. What follows is my manifestation of life and love in BG3.
Fiodhan, a druid living in Baldur’s Gate, is summoned to investigate an oil spill in the harbor and instead finds himself at the center of an alien invasion. Follow him through the events of the game as he forms lasting bonds with an unlikely group of companions. Sit with them by the campfire. Enjoy the quiet moments, the shitty days, the laughs, and all the love while you watch them try to save Faerûn, and themselves.

The year is 1988. Clark Kent is a 14 year old boy living in Smallville, Kansas. As far as the rest of the world is aware, UFOs and ghosts and all of that "weekly world news" stuff is just as fictional as the superheroes in Clark's comics, and so he keeps his secret, always wondering where he came from and always wondering what he could accomplish if he had the courage to stop hiding and start using his alien abilities to help people, like the heroes in the stories he reads.
One night, Clark is attacked by time traveling villains who seek to wipe him out before he can become a threat to them, and is rescued by J'onn J'onzz, the Martian Manhunter, who received a message from his future self warning of the temporal incursion. Clark must then go on the run, evading the cabal of supervillains who are trying to kill him, and find and recruit other strange kids with strange abilities and backgrounds who will one day join Clark in founding the Justice League of America.
That is, if they can survive.
