Summary
THE SHADOWS is the second part of my semi-canonical trilogy. It's story-driven, romantic, smutty and very angsty, with healthy doses of comedy and silly camp dynamics topping it off. POV is half and half between Tav and Gale, with flashbacks, as well as narrative attention paid to non-ship characters and their interconnecting dynamics.
Since it's semi-canonical, you do not ~have~ to read The Wilderness to read The Shadows, but I did work very hard on it, so give it a go sometime!
