    He supposes it could be believable that there’s a Bat Man out there. He’s literally part spider now, so it’s not too far fetched an idea to think that a guy got bit by a radioactive bat and grew a pair of wings.
    But no one has ever been able to confirm that the man or his sidekick, Robin, even exist.
    That’s right- no pictures, no interviews. Only eye witness accounts that sound like someone spotted Bigfoot. A lot of people claiming that they saw him flying overhead one night when they were out partying with their friends, or saying they saw Batman and Robin take down a crocodile man with their bare hands, or that Robin carries five swords, or that Batman is a vampire and has vampire friends. He even saw one man online claim that he saw that Robin was the one with wings like a bat.

    Fanfic of another fanfic, heavily inspired by "Operation: I am Human" by StandingBi.

    The Justice League believes Batman is a cryptid due to his tendency to use bird calls, hisses and grunts rather than words, odd mannerisms and other pieces of evidence that don't help Bruce's case. He struggles to clear the misunderstanding and continues making poor social decisions, which only fuels the fire.

    Chap 1: Hal gets the crazy idea to flash a laser pointing during a Justice League meeting. Bruce believes a sniper has somehow broken into headquarters, and chases after the laser. Everyone gravely misinterprets the situation, believing it to be some sort of instinctual urge. It spirals into something comedic, and entirely avoidable.

    + Various instances of the JL charting Bruce’s poor social skills to an animalistic instinct.

    There should have been nothing remarkable about two people in a busy cafeteria, but Becket takes in the familiar sight of curly hair, brown eyes, and a t-shirt with a science pun on it talking animatedly alongside Actual Anthony Edward Stark and promptly drops his lunch.

    He gapes for a solid second, seeing but not believing. It definitely doesn’t look like Mr. Stark is forcing the kid to leave, or firing him, or escorting him to security given the relaxed smiles on both of their faces. If anything, Becket thinks Mr. Stark looks rather proud.

    “So, uh, Mr. Stark definitely knows Roomba-Kid,” Becket says and discreetly tilts his head in the direction of the pair.

    “Oh my god,” Jess says. She almost sounds gleeful. “Oh my god, he’s not just some random kid. He’s Mr. Stark’s kid.”

      Summary:

      "Don't worry," the man says, which—who's the monster here, young man! Shouldn't you be worried?? But abruptly, every fiber of Shen Yuan's being is focused on the large, very sharp-looking knife that the man is holding.

      "Kind of hard not to," Shen Yuan says. Shen Jiu is going to kill him. Again. At least this time, he won't be around to see it.

      The man brandishes the knife, and Shen Yuan has to admit, in the corner of his brain that's not gibbering with fear, he looks really cool doing it. Then the knife slashes down, and Shen Yuan wishes he could close his eyes, wishes he could pretend this wasn't happening—

      —but the man dramatically cuts his own hand, and Shen Yuan's brain only has a moment to try and process this, one brief moment to think, What the fuck? And then the scent of his blood hits Shen Yuan, and he really starts to panic.

      In which Shen Yuan, vampire, gets approached by a man he assumes is a vampire slayer. Imagine his surprise when Luo Binghe, human, is the one dubconning him into drinking Binghe's blood.
