It was another damn sub-scenario again.
He'd gone extensive lengths to avoid it, yet here it was, rearing its head right in the middle of their dungeon crawling. It wasn't quite a dungeon per-say—the place had several floors, each mirroring the aesthetic of a major nebula. They were on the Olympus floor, which meant they were fighting pseudo Gorgon, snakes, and various other mythical beasts that dissolved into nothing when they killed them.
It was a breeze really. Maybe that's why to up the difficulty, the sub-scenario had been forced on them. He should have known—he’d been vigilant when it came to Olympus related things in previous scenarios, but he'd let his guard down here.
