Summary
Of course, it was a dream, one Riku was more than capable of controlling to boot. For all his huffing and puffing, Sora knew they wouldn't be anything less than perfect.
He peeked over his shoulder and found Riku's bright cyan eyes riveted on the treats. God, were they dilated?
"You were saying?" Sora asked, tilting his head and acting as if he was genuinely asking.
Riku drew up short, snapping his jaw closed and glaring at Sora. Sora wiggled the cookie tray filled with the treats and Riku shot up in his seat in alarm.
"Sora!" Riku hissed, but Sora was too busy laughing to mind it.

Summary
Carlos has managed to get a hold on his incubus side over the years. It's not the happiest existence, fighting against nature every step of the way, but it's necessary. After all, feeding on life energy through sex? It's not so good for the other person.
If Carlos has to be an abstinent sex demon, then that's that. Never mind his urges always pushing him toward temptation. Never mind the always-present gnawing hunger.
Besides, he could never tell anyone, especially not Cecil. It's weird. Gross. And he can handle this. Right?

Summary
It had been a long and difficult 27 years since the Hail Mary had launched. Not as terrible as it could have been, but not easy. Humanity had survived and adapted, as it always did. There had been terrible wars. There had been incredible acts of kindness. There had been massive scientific breakthroughs. And now, there were two distant blips of Petrova-light, picked up by the Deep Space Network, hurtling home. Two probes, braking hard as they hurtled toward Earth holding the secrets to its salvation. They were late, or at least, not very early, but they were here.
Grace may have made his peace with dying to save Rocky, but Rocky insists they return to Earth.

Summary
“He’s jealous,” Nie Huaisang finally mutters, and Nie Mingjue frowns.
“Of me? Because I get to hug you? Or of you? What the hell would there be to be jealous about?” Nie Mingjue wants to know because he cannot fathom what would incite such a response.
“Well, jealous might be the wrong word,” Nie Huaisang amends with a sigh. “He’s touch starved,” Nie Huaisang says, and he’s serious now, Nie Mingjue can tell.
“Touch starved?” he clarifies because that possibility didn’t even cross his mind.

Summary
Shane didn’t tell his parents until the lease was already signed.
“Oh, by the way,” he said, shoving a spearing of carbonara into his mouth, “the guy I’m rooming with is an alpha.”
Yuna was scrolling through Facebook, so it took a moment for her to register what Shane had said. His father, however, furrowed his brows and frowned.
“What?” David leaned forward, hand reaching toward his son as if to pull him off a cliff. “Why in the world would you room with an alpha?”
Yuna’s eyes darted up. “What?”
David repeated, “He just said he’s—”
“Rooming with an alpha, yes, I heard.” Yuna unceremoniously dropped her phone on the table. She made a quick scan of the restaurant before speaking, as if worried someone would overhear that her unmated omega son had agreed to live alone with an alpha. Shane loved his parents, he did. He loved having an alpha mother and a beta father, and he knew they adored him back. But it didn’t change the fact that they sometimes let their biases seep through. “That’s not safe, Shane.”
Shane meets his scent-kryptonite in the form of Ilya Rozanov.
