Summary
Two cartons of milk were all it took for roommates Keith and Lance to decide they should just do all of their grocery shopping together. They realize pretty quickly that it's a bit difficult to bicker and shop at the same time. Thus, The Grocery Truce is born. The truce states that while they're outside the store, they can be as mean to one another as they want, but when they're inside, they have to play nice.
Turns out, the main thing Keith looks for in a man is someone who knows what brand of protein bar he likes.

Having sex with Keith in order to secure an alliance with an alien species wasn't how Lance expected to lose his virginity, but it wasn't the worst way for it to go.
(Until afterwards, of course, when it all goes wrong and Keith won't speak to him. Not that Lance has any idea why. Or why it bothers him so much.)

“The hell are you doing?” Keith grumbles out, body mid-push up. There’s a snicker behind him, too close to his ears, though Keith can’t really understand what would be so amusing about this. Then again, he’s not really sure why Lance is lying on him while he’s doing push ups either. Other than to be, of course, annoying.
“Nothing.” Lance finally says. Keith hears the grin in his voice, which only proves to irritate him a little more. ‘Nothing’ his ass. “Continue with what you’re doing, Mr. ‘I’m-Too-Good-For-Socialization’.”
(Lance, as always, tries to annoy Keith by making his exercise harder. It doesn’t work. At all.)

"Oh good, you're all here!" Shiro greets, walking out of the front double doors of the campus with a wide grin.
Everyone waves but Keith, who crosses his arms over his chest. "What kind of setup is this?"
"You know, Keith, most people say hi before they accuse people of things," Lance offers with a sigh.
"No, he's right. This was a setup."
Three years after the end of the war, Shiro makes his way to Lance's family's farm and offers Lance an opportunity to be an instructor at the Garrison. Although he's never taught before, Lance learns about grief, love and what it means to heal.

Their kiss is short that time, and it feels good to be known. To be seen. Lance remembers himself when he’s with Keith, a limb he needs to function like he does. Call him desperate, but Lance wants Keith in all the ways he can have him, and then some.
Bodies flood in around them, and the music starts up again, louder and more upbeat, pulsing through Lance’s veins.
And he lets go.
