Summary
Soobin needed the alcohol to burn down his throat and rid him of the word Yeonjun that he spoke. Speaking his name felt sacred and this was like desecrating everything he was, everything he loved. It felt so wrong to speak ill of his relationship with him. Maybe it wasn’t perfect, but it was perfect to him. Their moments burned in his mind like a brand against his skin and he worried every moment that he was transparent. He worried everyone could see his name burned against his skin where every kiss had seared against him. He worried everyone could see the act, could see what a bad actor he was, could pull down the curtains and expose how he was gripping his hands together and how he wanted to break down.

Yeonjun and Soobin broke up in college when Yeonjun needed to move away, but the pair were never happy after that. Soobin realized there was no other person on this earth he would rather be with and Yeonjun felt the same. However, when they reconnect both are in relationships and with complications and fears of love having faded for one another it's a rocky journey.
