    Not an artist, but I've been given quite a lot of art over the years, much of which I embed in my stories. At present, I make sure to credit the artist and add hyperlinks to their main art sites, and it would be great if typing in the AO3 user names would generate credit/links.

      Perhaps the Archive could create a system that links automatically and displays the source (website, username, or both) when one hovers over the image.
