Summary
Ever since the tragic death of her parents Salem has been able to see the dead. . .and they can see her. They always seemed to find her, no matter how far she ran, where she hid, there was nothing that could keep them away. So she stopped running. Now as an adult, she's learned how to use this "curse" for her benefit, as well as the benefit of the deceased who used to haunt her. But the dead aren't the only people who have Salem on their radar.
Hunters always seem to come knocking at the most inopportune times. Sam and Dean are no different.
When a job goes south and Salem is abducted from her home in the middle of the night, she has no choice but to follow along in the hopes of getting back to her store, and her life without ghost hunting, sooner rather than later. But not everything is as simple as it seems, and a single job away from home slowly turns into two, then three, then four.
Slowly, as the jobs keep getting more obscure, and Sam and Dean keep getting closer to the demon that killed their mom, Salem discovers that she herself is not exactly who she thought she was either. That maybe, just maybe, there's more hiding beneath their skin than they realized. -

Summary
Charles takes a deep breath to steel himself and nearly collapses on the floor from the sheer pain the motion tugs from his bruised ribs and stomach. Tears crowd his eyes, and even that causes his left cheek to throb. He takes another breath despite the pain and leans on the counter for support. He feels light-headed and dizzy. The tears threaten to surpass the barrier of his eyes and flow down his cheeks.
Just as he’s about to open the tap to splash water over his eyes, the door to the bathroom bursts open and Erik enters. For a moment, Charles wonders if he could just nudge Erik’s mind into walking out, but no such luck. Erik has already spotted him, jaw clenched tightly and every muscle of his tall body coiled with anger. His mind is blocked to Charles, but if it weren’t, Charles has no doubt he’d only find rage there.
Shit. What is Erik doing here? Shouldn’t he be in a lecture? Even if he just wanted to use the urinals, there’s already a toilet on their floor. He needn’t have walked across the campus to use the one Charles is specifically in. But before Charles can voice any of those thoughts, Erik asks, in a voice as hard as steel, ‘What happened to your face?’

Summary
It has been twelve years since Sam went missing. Twelve years of searching and coming up empty each and every time. The Winchester's know who is responsible for the kidnapping: the Yellow-Eyed demon. Everyone has given up on the hope that Sam will return to them.
Everyone but Dean.
Which is why, when a nearby town is discovered barren apart from the bodies of people who had gone missing years before, all children who could be linked back to the demon Azazel, Dean knows that Sam is involved.
One thing Dean knows for sure: he is going to get his brother back, one way or another.
TLDR: Sam was taken by Azazel as a child and has been raised alongside of Azazel's other "children" for many years before reappearing.
