Animorphs 41, The Familiar, shows us an alternate future in which the Yeerks won. It briefly hints at what life is like for children on the conquered planet. We are told, in dialogue, of the host-farms of a Yeerk-controlled world:
"When children are born, they enter one of the wamps, or warehouses, where they are held from birth to age fifteen. Their lives are controlled though their brains are left uninfested. Children are seen as weak and unworthy host bodies. During this captivity, they're pumped full of vitamin supplements so the host bodies will grow strong. They're run on treadmills so they'll be fit to fight. When instinct leads them to indulge in moments of uncontrolled, regular childhood, they are punished. If they try to educate themselves, they are punished. Yeerks want minds as powerless as possible. So they raise children in a joyless, lifeless world where they wait for the day of infestation. The EF fights to free them."
Then the book looks away. I am not sure canon went far enough.
They burned the host-farm and saved eleven children. They seized a Yeerk data-drive, and on it, flagged as a model for the other farms: the complete assessment of a girl they were a rotation too late to save...

After that, Kaiman gave him a devious grin and had the nerve to tip the jug up to his own mouth to take a big swig right in front of him, before setting it down on the floor directly outside the glass wall between them.
“You would have earned your water today if you had obeyed my command. Let this be a lesson for you.”
