“Shit, kid!” Jean hisses, hearing the way Ed wheezes with each breath, the struggle of his chest against Jean’s. “We leave you alone to do fuckin’ research in the library, and you come back lookin’ like you lost a fist fight with a bull!”
“Fuck you, Ha-Havoc,” Ed wheezes, slumping against the rickety wooden wall of the smoking shelter. “I- I look fuck - shit - fuckin’ fantastic.”
“Yeah, fantastic for a bleeding, anemic shrimp,” Jean tells him, grinning as Ed opens one eye to glare at him, even as Jean pats down his flesh arm and then down his torso. “You’re usually only one of those, so I gotta ask, what the fuck did you do?”

There’s a small crew of grad students at the bar, a kid among them who’s making everyone around him smile. He’s got the dishwater hair of an ex-blond and a nice face: happy, comfortable and expressive in a way that makes him feel immediately familiar. Tall, narrow frame, nice shoulders and big hands. The neat, patterned button-down of a twenty-something gay man. Probably inappropriate for Roy to hit on now that he’s Honorary Professor Mustang.
Could be fun, though.

FMA x BNHA crossover fic because I'm a little bit funky and cringe! Canon divergence where Ed gives up his life to bring Al back, but it doesn't go quite as planned.

Ling doesn't know or care about that. He's more concerned with more important things, like his next meal, or obtaining immortality to save his clan. He wants nothing to do with abducted princes or alchemically created monsters.

Summary
Aizawa is given a case directly from Hawks that concerns some sort of witchcraft. He was not given too much but apparently there's a kid involved and he's not allowed to contact the commission. Upon further investigation, he discovers truly horrifying things and he knows he can't do it alone. Nedzu gets involved and helps to point him in the right direction.
Meanwhile in Amestris, Edward Elric has been missing for a month and with no leads available Mustang is forced to make a decision on whether or not to declare him as dead. Everyone that is able has been searching but without any leads they're starting to lose hope. That is until they get a certain letter from a certain school in Japan.
Together they will investigate the potential threats. Everything is on the line here and Mustang can only hope that he makes it on time.
