This is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! I was literally writing the same thing (the lead-up to His death with some explanations of the world) but couldn’t figure out how I wanted to write it because there just wasn’t enough to go off of in the game. But this is breathtaking!! It characterizes everything surprisingly well from what we have in the game and I LOVE the reoccurring music notes He hears and how He doesn’t know anything but questions to make it seem like he really is just wandering around, along with His forgetfulness. I also love how He keeps wondering what His and others’ names are to grieve them!! My favorite lines are “He’s scared of seeing a man in the mirror instead of a pig’s face.“ and the ending with Him finding a name for Himself!!
