Summary
Scott has spent the last 600 years asleep and is ready to take over Oakhurst again (maybe expand a little, he isn't sure), so of course an agent of that organisation that tried to get rid of him multiple times is also in Oakhurst.
Abolish never wanted to come to Oakhurst, he wanted something bigger than a simple recon mission as his first, so what he stopped for a night in another town to stay with a cute guy, so imagine his shock when he finds the tomb of Scott Goldsmith open and empty.
Can these two put apart their differences to find a way out of Oakhurst, can Scott learn to let people into his heart again and can Abolish learn to let some of the real him out?

Summary
It’s the winter of 1761, and the supernatural world beneath London is as thriving as ever. Great Britain is under the control of vampires, but every supernatural has a place in the court.
But that peace is quickly disturbed when a new force emerges – one never seen before. Several lights around the city begin to light up with magic at the will of nearby creatures, even ones without magic. When several different parties discover their uniqueness, they wish to study the enchantment for themselves.
Each participant quickly (or slowly), realises the game that is afoot, and they have to race each other to the discovery of each holy light. Nothing is off the table when some of them are just players in a grander game. The supernatural don’t just hide themselves from the rest of London for their safety after all…
But when magic is in play, no one’s motivations are ever clear. And when strangeness begins to leak into London and mundane life, more than just friendship is discovered as alliances are formed.

The man stares at his empty hand, then up at the person standing a few feet away.
Owen holds his axe loosely, but Louis knows how to read every movement, every twitch, every stillness of his body. If Sausage, or Martyn or Réy or anyone else, takes even a single wrong step, he’ll be on the ground within a moment, bleeding out from the gaping wound where his jaw used to be.
Owen wouldn’t even have to use his axe for it. He would rip out Sausage’s throat with his teeth if he needed to, to hell with whatever consequences would await him.

Things were getting bad.
Avid jogged through the woods, sweat on his brow and blood under his nails. He couldn’t keep going like this. It was getting worse.
The wound on his neck pulsed under his bandages. Sharp bolts of pain jolted up his neck and down his chest and it was so, so insistent. He wouldn’t be able to contain whatever this was for much longer.
On the way here, he had already slain three cows. Cows. How he had done so, he could not remember; but he would never forget coming to his senses with the filthy corpses in front of him, their throats shredded to pieces and bits of flesh scattered around the thicket.
He had vomited, then.
There was a beast inside him, and it was growing stronger.
OR: Avid has less time than he calculated to fix his problem. But, once he's turned, he realizes he may be more out of his depth than he expected.
