"Oh." Shane gasped, his eyes growing wide. There, in front of him, was his husband. Only it wasn't his Ilya, as in the one he was just talking to, the one he woke up next to every morning. This Ilya was a bit smaller, his curls a bit bigger and more wild, younger. His eyes more guarded than the open, adoring blue Shane was used to now. "Oh my god."

You turned your head in confusion. This was so fucking weird, you thought right before the man toppled over again, making you scream in horror.
