Summary
Batman and Robin are back on another case! Hunting down the members of the Vasiliev Syndicate, these two heroes are running ragged looking for any clues that'll tell them who they're after, why, and finding that opening to take them down. Only one problem: Dick Grayson still has a life, and that life finally caught up with him.
Detention is where he meets Eugene D'amour, Gotham High School's resident deviant who is fully determined to make life difficult for everyone around him and now his detention mate. One fateful afternoon upended their lives in all the best, and worst, ways. Every outing is more bold than the next. But maybe there is more to life than just fighting the bad guys and trying to balance that with his day-to-day civilian life.
Or maybe, all of it is more connected than he could ever want it to be.

So . . . I haven't published a fic in over five years. Last time I did, I was 13 and writing on Wattpad. I've guested on AO3 for a while though and tried to get a feel for the culture. “Of course.” Bruce’s shoulders slumped, just barely, but Dick could read him well enough to see it as relief. “We can work out a schedule.”
“Yeah.” Dick turned away from him. He started walking to his bike. “Yeah, whatever.”
He was about to turn the key in the ignition when Bruce spoke one more time. “You are going to save lives, chum.”
“I know, B. Trust me, I know.” With that, he started the engine. He made sure to rev it obnoxiously on his way out.

Bruce makes Dick move back to Gotham for a case that requires him to go undercover as Richard Wayne in the upper echelons of Gotham's social scene. However, the more he tugs at the strings of the mystery, the more the line between Richard Wayne and Dick Grayson begins to blur. Oh, and it doesn't help that the asshole with the eyepatch keeps showing up with what seems to be an express purpose to mess with his case, and his head.
