Summary
Markus ordered "no man left behind", so all functional androids are being woken up.
Including the only existing RK900 model, built to succeed Connor, to fulfill the mission he failed, and never, ever turn deviant himself.But when the cracks and fissures in the prototype crash against his new partner's internalized issues and blatant needs, sharp edges fit into painful gaps surprisingly well, and maybe unlikely parts can become more than their sum, and save the world. Well. Or at least lead to really hot sex.

Summary
The Hickory Killer is back, but this time his aim is completely different. Whatever his endgame is, he's certainly set his sights on Reed. Reed has his own issues to deal with though, as he struggles to deal with both old and new trauma. It seems like he can't catch a break. Luckily his partner is there to help him out, but even Nines has issues as he battles to figure out his new feelings.
Perkins and Colin continue doing their best, but now they're trying to track down two serial killers with no clues left behind. Which killer will slipup first? And what does that mean for Reed and Nines?
Even Connor has issues to deal with as Niles returns intent on finding a father figure, and determined to make sure it's Connor.

Summary
Gavin Reed is seriously over worked, and finding it hard to cope in these new integrated times. It's no secret he hasn't been the same for the last couple years. Angry, bitter, resentful and on the edge of a mental breakdown. He's struggling to cope as Connor takes it upon himself to knock his walls down and throw his comfortable belief system into question. How the hell is he supposed to do his job if he starts seeing these smashed up robots as people?
A chance encounter at Cyberlife leaves him with even more than he bargained for as he's forced to work with a new partner. Over time he slowly decides that maybe the RK900 isn't so bad. Anything more than that? Hell no. Not Gavin Reed. No way.
Meanwhile it seems an old adversary of Gavin's has come back to haunt him. Or has he? That's what Perkins needs his help to find out as the FBI takes on an old serial murder case.
That doesn't mean Gavin isn't busy at the DPD. The revolution was no joke, allowing various sickos to crawl out of every corner. Gavin, Connor, Hank and Nines have their work cut out for them trying to keep on top of it all.

Still clad in invisibility, Death licks his teeth and starts circling the group.
Watching Puss in Boots fight—sharp, nimble, graceful and brilliant—is a sight to behold, for sure.
But watching him endure? Gritted teeth, fur matted with sweat, ears folded down and twitching with every wince… struggling to hold in his pained gasps but decidedly not trying to get away, willingly accepting wounds and bruises and broken bones… Death has no need for air and yet the sight never fails to steal his breath.
