“You paying my bills, Bucky? Mind your business,” Sam countered. He allowed Bucky to gently hip-check him on the way to the fridge; they’d fallen into the habit of nudging each other to check in, to reassure each other that they were just joshing. Just kidding around. Just finding any excuse to touch each other without having to examine what it might have really meant.
