Summary
The garden forces found one out of the three dairies that Irene wrote in her last rebirth. Written in it is a story about a man who protects and hides relics. Which is wonderful because they recently found a relic that is too old to be turned back into a person. They send one of their best workers to find this man, who also so happened to be the sister of the Ultima (she couldn't find another job no one else wanted to hire her).
Laurance is tired. He is still a shadow knight and with the world turning and magic becoming strounger the calling has returned. He now has to protect the relics he has hid along with resisting the urge to cause harm and try to keep the story of the Shadow Knights hidden. Plus he still has to go to work :/.

Cliff pauses then. Hand stuck midair as he was reaching for his beer. “Lily’s in Boston?”

Cliff turns to Hayden then. Cocking his head a little to the side, his eyes are searching Hayden’s face as if he was trying to read his mind. He opens his mouth to speak. He closes it. He shakes his head a little. And opens his mouth again,
“That’s so fucking weird dude. Roz’s ‘Jane’ is in Montreal. What are the odds those fuckers have girls in each other city’s. That would be next level rivalry, man."

A hand grasped his arm, sending a brief thrill down Merlin's nerves as he was forced around to face the person behind him. Armour gleamed in the firelight: supple chainmail glinted, and the solid iron of a pauldron curved lovingly over one broad shoulder. The length of a sword blade separated them. The point hovered, steady and sure, over Merlin's heart, braced to run him through, but he did not care about any of that. He was too busy drinking in the sight of the man before him.
