    Izuku has always been good at hiding things. He hid the bullying from his mother, the pain from his friends, the blades from everyone else.

    He’s doing fine. It’s just a stress reliever. Who cares that the panic attacks are getting more frequent and that he can’t calm down without pain now.

    But what if someone notices? From one tiny mistake? No. That wouldn’t happen.

    But what if?

    Peter Parker was just trying to have a normal evening after his patrol - as normal as they'd been after the whole world forgot his existence. Suddenly finding himself in the middle of nowhere definitely was not on his list of to-do's, especially when it turns out he's been thrown into another universe. Another universe where he's apparently dead. At least Tony Stark was alive, even if he thinks that Peter is some hallucination.

    “I vote we test him for brain chips,” said Bruce.

    “I vote,” said Sam, pointing accusingly, “that we stop inviting him to training and start asking him to teach us.”

    Peter blushed bright red. “Can I go now?”

    “Absolutely not,” said Natasha. “You’re staying and explaining how the hell that was muscle memory.”

    Peter just smiled nervously and picked up the sniper rifle.
