Summary
Sonic’s decision to leave Eggman to his new life as the woodsman Mr. Tinker was nothing short of a massive gamble, but after seeing him permanently retire his dreams of despotism in spite of his renewed memories and play a vital role in stopping the Metal Virus from spreading any further, he’s more than confident that the risk was all worth it, and is ready to take things slow for a change.
So why is he having these sudden migraines? Why is he recalling haunting, crestfallen memories that never happened? And why is that fennec who keeps staring at him so eerily familiar?

Summary
Apollo had, when he had a strong enough signal, explained everything in his own words. He’d said that he hoped his stay in Khura’in would be temporary, just long enough for the country to stabilise and for there to be more than literally one singular lawyer operating out of one singular city. Old lawyers would need to redo the Khura’inese version of the bar exam, prospective lawyers would need to be taught and trained and then also pass the exam, of course.
It would take a while. A few years at least, Apollo said. He’d visit LA as often as he could, or Klavier was free to visit Khura’in when he had the time, they still had that dinner date to go on after all (and Apollo had called it a date. Klavier had left it open, let him decide what he wanted it to be, and he’d called it a date).
Or: the late-night musings of an ex-rockstar prosecutor that didn’t think he’d get this far.
