Summary
Jean has only been Interim Prime Minister for Monstadt for less than a year. In those months she’s had to deal with terrorist attacks by the Abyss Order, Treasure Hoarders trying to loot Monstandt’s history, reconciliation negotiations with the hilichurl tribes of Dadaupa Gorge, and what is apparently an ancient weather drone that’s decided to go on a rampage.
Now she was getting reports that a pair of aliens had just crash landed their spaceship on the beach just off Starsnatch Cliff.

Summary
One morning Ned wakes up (before Robert arrives at Winterfell) and finds that all his dead family members are appearing all over Winterfell. First his father Rickard, then his brother Brandon, sister Lyanna, and then his mother Lyarra--each appearing with no memories from after they left Winterfell the final time before their deaths. Now Ned is forced to confront his own choices as a lord and re-examine his relationship with his past and future as he comes to term with members of his family he never got the proper chance to say goodbye to. In addition, all his family members begin to cause trouble for poor Ned and the current generation of Starks as they all interact with one another. Fun times always come at family reunions. ;)
Originally posted under my "Bits and Pieces" collection, it now has a new home of its own outside the collection by popular demand, since it's been growing beyond the original premise.

Summary
Based on a thread on Alternatehistory.com which challenged us to imagine different characters as their opposite gender. Here are a collection of a few of my summary attempts turned into stories, written in a drabble format to give a taste of what such a world might be like. The rating is mostly for chapters to come.
Chapter Six, Daemon Targaryen, raised by his cousin Stannis, dreads the meeting that he's feared for most of his life.
Chapter Seven, Jonelle Snow fights against a storm to find her little brother.
Chapter Eight: Lollar Stokeworth drinks with his brother of the battlefield, Bronn.
Chapter Nine: Robert Baratheon is born with a Targaryen ability most thought long gone, one in which upon having their first sexual encounter, the Targaryens reflect their dragons and are able to shift between male and female at will.

As most things are in this current day and age, Barbara's newfound skill had been triggered by the Traveler's newfound presence, and was further nurtured until the supposed self-improvement she was seeking at the time no longer outweighed the guilt of leaving the Church behind, even temporarily.
The process itself was incredibly unremarkable. So long as Barbara remains within proximity of the patient, a single touch is sufficient to bring one back from the dead. After which, she grants herself a fifteen-minute reprieve before beginning the cycle anew.
(Shorter durations of rest have been tried and tested, with the typical result of her entering a semi-comatose state for about two days. To avoid such agonizingly long periods of inaction, fifteen-minute breaks have been designated for maximum efficiency.)

"We will be free soon, and we will be able to see the sky and the world beyond," The bard continued, "There is no reason to be so glum."
Oh, Venti realizes, I am here again.
or alternatively, the fic in which venti falls asleep again and wakes up in a time where they haven't overthrown decarabian yet and the nameless bard is still alive. naturally, venti plans to keep him that way.

Sir Frederica takes a long drag of her cigarette, the ember glowing in the dim tavern light. “I am retired, Sir Eula,” she says, her voice low but clear, “as you may or may not have heard.”
10 years after the end of the world, Eula sets out to find an old ally who does not want to be found.
