Something that popped into my mind on the discord server
Something was said and then I mentioned something and I cackled.
Anyway!
The Grace line had been cursed for generations, mainly the female line, and a few occasionally males.
That any person (human) who slept with a descendant of a direct line of the Grace family end up dying hours after sleeping with a family member. Distant or otherwise.
Grace didn't believe in the curse.
He was a man of science!
Until his first relationship took his virginity and died hours later.
But that was a coincidence.
Then it happened again in college twice.
He didn't sleep with anyone in the Stratt Vat, that would've been very unprofessional.
Now here he was in space, he went willingly of course, because maybe he could keep people safe in earth if he wasn't there. Even though he knew the Grace line would continue through distant family members that were careful.
Until he meets Rocky and eventually Simon and both are curious to touch him and despite Grace's worry, they reassure him they're safe.
And then Adrian, Rocky's mate who is curious about the human their mate was intimate with.
