Summary
In the short story it goes like this: Only the good die young and this is no less true in the world of shinobi. Tenten is hellbent on not only surviving but thriving and tosses away her innocence in favor of a bloodied katana and bruised fists.
This is the longer story.
(OR: Ty Lee is reborn Tenten in a world where children are murderers, lying is encouraged, and information is currency. A world where death and life is split by a single fine line of acting. It's a good thing, then, that she's lived an entire lifetime learning how to survive by acting.)

1. They needed worshippers. Shrines. Lives at their disposal—mortals ready to sacrifice themselves at a moment's notice. They needed belief.
2. The second thing needed was the attention of the Fates.
Sometimes, the Fates take special care in certain strings. They weave these more carefully. Thoughtfully. Godly strings glow gold. These strings have a distinct golden sheen.
Percy Jackson achieved both of these. It doesn't matter he turned down the offer of godhood. It would come.
