Before he had the chance though, Grace sprang from the bed in a hurry, raced to the washroom, and shut the door. Rocky heard the sink turn on at full blast. This was odd. Despite the water filtration system onboard Grace was always paranoid about excessive water use. Now Rocky was worried.
He rolled to the door and knocked it with the side of his ball.
“Grace ok, question?”
Grace responded, “Uh yeah bud, I’m ok. Could you jus’ give me a second?”
There was a wavering in Grace’s voice that Rocky couldn’t place. His breaths were labored. Beneath the rush of the sink Rocky could hear a slick, wet sound that if he didn’t know any better sounded like skin on skin.

In-ho returns to the island after he gives Seong Ga-yeong her father’s winnings. Perhaps to try and say goodbye, perhaps to gather whatever might remain of Seong Gi-hun, perhaps just to chastise himself over his failures.
None of it comes to pass, though, as In-ho discovers something that upends everything. A snarling, sinuous merman with a familiar face and voice, telling him that the games are over and to never come back.
Gi-hun has one mission in his new life, and that’s to make sure the games don’t return to the island. In-ho is not going to interfere with that. He would like to help, to take part in this renewed sense of purpose. Even if it means camping on the island for the foreseeable future.
