Summary
The Fourth Great Shinobi War has come to an end and everything is returning to normal. The heroes of the war are now adults and relationships are beginning to form. However, it turns out that these aren’t quite what some of them had expected. For whilst Naruto and Sasuke continue to compete with each other in everything, fighting as much as they can and systematically changing the landscape in the process - which keeps Kakashi awake at night - when they are left alone, something else begins to happen...

“No matter what,” Naruto says, angling his head so Sasuke can really see him. So he can really understand. “I’d do it again.”
Sasuke stops moving.
Naruto looks at him fully. “All of it.”
And Naruto says it like it is not a debt. Like Sasuke does not have to pay him back by staying.
