Summary
Tim Drake is stuck in a world where quirks are everything, especially to heroes, and the quirkless are next to useless. Tim knows he can be a hero without a quirk, he already is one. While he's here, he may as well prove it.

Summary
Tim Drake knows that crying yields no data. He learned that at six years old in an empty house, illuminated only by the blue light of a computer screen.
Now, he’s an exhausted student by day and a digital poltergeist by night. He doesn't just "watch" the Wayne family, he optimizes them. He hacks their coffee machines, stabilizes their tactical HUDs, and leaves anonymous medical alerts on the Bat-computer when Bruce’s cortisol levels spike. It’s not stalking if it’s protective, right?
But when Jason Todd corners him in the library to argue about The Great Gatsby, Tim realizes that maintaining a firewall is a lot harder when the target is sitting across the table. It turns out, you can’t calculate your way out of a hug, and the Waynes are very, very persistent.

Summary
It was simple, Slade got a project to keep his mind off his kids, and the boy got to get some real training under his belt. Win-win, since the kid was clearly determined to risk his life hanging around the Bat.
Slade smirked to himself as he took off after the kid.
It would be just like summer camp.
OR
Tim gets spotted bat watching and is kidnapped by a mercenary, learns a whole lot of fun new skills and manages to end up with not just one, but two families by the end. -

Summary
“Are you an organ thief?”
Robin made a choking sound.
“An organ thief?” Batman repeated, and now he sounded a little amused.
Tim nodded once, which was a mistake, because the pier rolled unnaturally under his feet.
“Important screening question,” he said.
OR:
Tim is high on pain meds, but is he going to let that stop him from saving Batman and Robin? Of course not.

Summary
The wind whips around, rapid, and sharp with sand and grit.
Tim can’t see—there’s so much dust trapped between his eyelids that he can hardly tell if they’re even closed or not. It burns and stings, it fills his lungs, and all he can think about is his body, buried under a new dune of sand, and his family, so many miles away, not even thinking to look for him there. And just as suddenly, the sun and sand and howling winds are gone.
-----
In which the universe takes pity on Tim, just once, if it even was the universe at all.
(My take on the surprisingly common “Tim Drake finds himself in a different universe” trope.)
