Fox spends so much of his time hiding away from others that when he admits the truth in a guttural whisper, “Massiff scared me,” even he’s surprised.
Thorn hums questioningly into his back, and Fox breathes deeply before continuing.
“‘Grabbed the guy right by the arm. The same arm where I- and I just, I- I couldn’t…”
