Summary
In the months following the defeat of the Aparoids, Krystal continues to relish her new life with Star Fox. However, her joy may not last as she discovers evidence that Fox might potentially be booting her from the team. Before Krystal can hope to get answers and confront Fox about this, she and the rest of the team are called away to answer a ship's distress call over the planet Venom. Unbeknownst to any of them, the ship holds a foreboding secret that Krystal falls victim to, as she unwittingly gets slung across the dimensions and maroons in a world of tyranny and hopelessness.

Summary

Through a mess of star charts and the hazy goal of finally leaving behind the Lylat system, they've chosen each other-- time and time again. Intertwined in their hearts, minds, and goals is the chance to finally be enough. To satisfy his better half by supressing his worst instincts, to be a better man.
But for someone who's always had to run, who's never been enough, it does beg the question: what does it mean to piece together the fragments of your past self, and show them to the person who's supposed to be your future?

The long awaited sequel to *An Endless Winter's Thaw*! I've worked on and off on this project for the better part of the school year, in search of something worthy. Despite all of my previous story's flaws, I've come to adore everything this story represents. I can only hope all of you enjoy it, too.
