(๑'ヮ'๑)っ⁾⁾ Hallo! This is not updating again for an indeterminate time period, and when it does, it will hopefully be a more cohesive version of what I want to tell.
many months ago, sergius angenent, a normal sheep satyr, had a run in with a supposed goddess– he calls bullshit, even two months later with her visiting him frequently. him being a satyr doesn't mean he has to believe in deities.
cut to four months later and he is now death's little harbinger, although she calls him her canary in a coal mine, or her herald. weird, but he roles with it. now he lives on somewhat normally, if you don't consider the celestial entities occasionally popping in.
at least his social life has gotten better.
tldr; guy gets friend-adopted by lady death, then proceeds to have a better social life because of it.

Summary
Dick finds an omega being attacked in an alley in Bludhaven, and with no other option, he takes the omega to his nearest safehouse and starts making plans for how to adopt the homeless boy.
Jason is saved by Nightwing and whisked away, but...at least Nightwing is promising to feed him and keep him safe. Jason could do worse than Nightwing for a mate, and he certainly couldn't do any better. Besides, it's not like he has a choice.

Bruce only wanted to keep tabs on Jason. It's not his fault that he has to do it via hidden bugs. That's a totally normal reaction to your son wanting to spend a week by himself.
If only he knew what he was getting himself into.
AKA the Batfamily end up finding out that Steph and Jason are in a relationship. Despite the fact that the two weren't even trying to hide it. Bruce and Tim's initial fear of bearing witness to a sex tape is quickly shattered by an even worse outcome - honest, open conversation.

Tim blinked owlishly before scrambling to grab a pen from his book bag, as if terrified Jason would change his mind in the 6 seconds he took to search. He held it out to Jason who snatched it right out of his hands.
“If we do this, we’re doing it right. You got that, Richie?" Jason snarled. "When I sign this you’re my kid!”
“I don’t do things in half measures. I’m gonna be there for every PTA meeting, every club invite, every fucking carpool you understand? I don’t need some white bread, pearl clutching bitch telling me I’m a shitty Guardian just ‘cause I didn’t ask for this.”

The only thing worse than crawling out of your own grave to find your father had replaced you with the first black haired, blue eyed preteen he could find, is said replacement begging you to sign emergency foster papers... except maybe you signing said papers and having to learn how to be a parent on the fly... Fuck it, he couldn't do any worse than Bruce.
