Summary
On December thirty-first, Tom presented as an omega. With this, he knew the world would be colder to him. Society would look down upon him, would disrespect his intelligence, his ambitions. This did not matter, however, for when Tom gazed into the mirror, he saw only possibilities.
If power was not his for the taking, then he would create a character who could claim it in his stead. This hate-filled society would bend and break, tittering gossip-mongers would quaver at his sharp-witted insights, and the boy he loved—his grace, his Harry—would take notice.
Tom thought of Harry’s kind green eyes and generous soul. He thought of the extent he would go to for that lovely heart, how he would carve his way through the stifling expectations of society to make way for their unconventional union.
As the new year rang across all of Britain, signalling the end of Tom’s eighteenth birthday, Lord Voldemort was born.

Summary
The very last thing that Voldemort expects to find one evening as he undresses for the long bath that soothes the cold ache of his bones is the scratch of black letters that adorn the top of his thigh. He has been returned to his body for less than a week and here he stands in the immaculate deep-sea themed bathroom of his guest suite in Malfoy Manor with the lies of his soulmate written on his skin.
The absurdity of it makes him laugh.

A soulmate. A soulmate. One who planned a home for him, according to their previous words. One who wanted to keep him safe and protect him.
Harry can’t imagine how they’ll manage it, considering the whole wizarding world is against him—including the Dark Lord himself—but he likes to dream about it. Maybe they’ll whisk him away from the train at the end of the year and he’ll not have to see the Dursleys ever again. Maybe they’ll take him out of Britain entirely. Surely Voldemort will leave him alone if he’s not even in the country, right?

Summary
The day his father brings home Lily Luna Potter, a girl who can't possibly be older than Tom is, Tom says nothing. He says nothing, goes to his room, and texts Barty about Tom Riddle Senior's latest mid-life crisis.

And, well, Barty means it as a joke, but it gets Tom thinking. So he looks her up. He looks up Lily Luna Potter on Instagram and Twitter and VSCO and TikTok, all the places that girls his age are hanging around on, and eventually comes across her father.
Her father isn't half bad, if Tom's being honest. He's actually rather handsome—defined square jaw and dark, thick hair. Jewel green eyes. Tom imagines, for a moment, screwing Harry Potter at his house, wherever that is, then having breakfast across from Lily Luna Potter the next morning.
The more Tom thinks about it, the more it sounds like fun.
