Summary
“Wait, Mr. Raiders fan,” Rozanov calls.
Constable Sullivan pauses.
“I get a phone call, yes?”
“Sure.” He pulls out his own phone. “Do you know the number?”
Rozanov nods. The numbers all come out in a rush, as though he’s memorized it in one long string and can’t think of any of them separately.
It’s a Montreal area code, the constable notes, as he types it in. As the phone rings, he puts it on speaker and asks Rozanov: “Who is it?”
“Shane Hollander.”
“Fuck off. Who is it really?”
Or: in the midst of the Rose breakup, the Raiders win a game in Montreal. Unable to do what he normally does after Montreal games, Ilya goes out to a club, gets super drunk, and ends up getting picked up by Montreal police for public intoxication. Sitting in a holding cell, the only number he can remember is Shane's.

Summary
Refusing to let Ilya ruin his career by signing with Ottawa, Shane chooses to really give their relationship a try and moves to Boston to live with Ilya and become a Raider. What follows is enough public scrutiny and backlash from his team that it has him questioning if he made the right decision. Until moments with Ilya and the Raiders show him exactly why he chose correctly.
---
Hayden’s eyes flickered to Shane as he sat on the bench, chewing on the edge of his mouth guard.
“Don’t fucking look at him,” Ilya insisted as he bent down for the faceoff.
“Excuse me?” Hayden mumbled, eyes darting back to him.
“You heard me,” he retorted, his tone clipped. “He’s not your teammate anymore; he’s mine. If you think Marlow is a problem to your game, wait until you see what I will do to your team if you hurt anyone on mine again.”
Hayden scoffed, dipping his head as he tried to focus on the game. Something about Ilya’s words still rang through his head though, sounding so definitive that he didn’t want to risk seeing what he was actually referring to when he said that.
The puck dropped again, and Ilya stole it before he could comprehend how quickly it happened.

Summary
Shane Hollander would rather be training than playing nice for a sponsor. But a two-week cross-promo called Rivalry Weekend drags the stone-cold MMA star into Ilya Rozanov’s world, first behind the glass at a heated hockey game, then into rehearsed “chemistry” shoots that feel way too real.
Ilya is loud, reckless, and relentless, chirping until he finds hairline cracks in Shane’s perfect control, a smirk, a huffed laugh, a reaction Shane can’t afford to give. Ilya’s teammates know he’s bisexual. Shane is fully closeted, hiding behind discipline and silence, and a manager who treats his image like property.
As the campaign escalates toward fight night, the tension turns brutal. One wrong hit, one wrong look, and Shane’s secrets threaten to spill. Ilya doesn’t make a scene. He just watches, worries, and refuses to let Shane disappear.
