    Feels like a bug when Endeavor looks at him like this. No fire, no Hero costume. Father and son inside four walls, and that’s all. And Shoto is a moth pinned by its wings. Stripped bare of rolled eyes and sarcastic remarks, reduced to truths. School tomorrow. No one can see; or, should be allowed to see. That’s how his father thinks.

    It’s better than it used to be. It really is, and Shoto knows this. And he’s lucky. Has always been lucky. Always had clothes on his back, a roof over his head, food on the table. Had a name, and the prestige that comes with it. The price to pay is the violence. He doesn’t think this is a foreign concept to most people.
