Very very beautiful symmetry in parallels. The metaphors hold it together -- the beetle, hunger -- and moments where John attempts to protect Arthur from the truth. What isn't uttered. What is uttered and hangs heavily. Arthur's immediate reaction that he liked it too much and it can be used against him -- it's spectacular, the whole thing. Electric and vital and inevitable. Shame as it all comes apart. Brilliant!

It's self sufficient and modular. If it didn't die of starvation or an outside source, it could live forever. If it manages to defeat the Judge of Hell, or makes its way up to Heaven, who knows what it could do.

Oh?? Wow?? This is like. My actual dream fic. The vulnerability and the conflicted masochism and Vegeta's inability to leave the battefield behind – I'm absolutely losing it. Her taking charge even though she doesn't have the power to back it up, the undercurrent of fear and her hand on his neck. Absolutely electric, I'm nothing short of giddy.

A surreal and brilliantly written masterpiece. I'm at a complete loss for words, this is such an incredible exploration of the relationship between the brothers and a fraying mental state. Sasuke's rage and Itachi's habit of stoically doing what he feels he has to do anchors dreamlike prose as we piece together the true horror of this situation. It's a much more skillful way of pulling back the curtain than canon ever gave us, absolutely agonizing in the best way. Creeping dread the entire time.

I mean it sincerely when I say that this is one of the best things I've ever read. It mowed me over and left me breathless.
The humanity of horrible people doing horrible things to each other, a beautiful portrayal of a relationship that is utterly dysfunctional, and a complete loss of self in slow motion. Dry, witty prose dripping with distain for everything and everyone (except L). Light's voice could not be clearer if it were written by Ohba himself. This is literature in the same vein as American Psycho. Do yourself a favor and give it a read -

This is so heartfelt and lovely with really good worldbuilding to match – and to think I would've never clicked on it if I hadn't needed an ObiKin podfic to do dishes to! I've never regretted anything less. Stretching my comfort zone can be fun, actually. Author clearly knows what they're talking about!

He drained himself from his tank, donned his suit with the help of his medical droids, took a mere brief moment to acclimate to the heaviness of being in it, and then made his way to the bridge to discuss the capture of the escaped rebels with Grand Moff Tarkin.
Only… Vader stopped in his tracks the moment he stepped through the door, staring out the viewport with a slight hitch in his respirator as his failing lungs tried to draw in excess air. Outside of that window, there was a perfect view of Alderaan, blue-green with cloud systems swirling peacefully in its atmosphere. Vader couldn’t—how was it that Alderaan still existed? He had watched it be blown into slivers of asteroids not even one full day ago. It made no sense whatsoever.Or, Darth Vader kills Obi-Wan Kenobi on the Death Star, but the Force says “no.”

While they are trying to stay sane and more or less in one piece, Dean has to think of a scheme bad enough to get kicked out of Heaven. It’s a story of zombie love – for one’s brother and for the world of the living – that’s strong enough to make two men and one woman crawl back out of the grave.

It’s a story of zombie love – for one’s brother and for the world of the living – that’s strong enough to make two men and one woman crawl back out of the grave.
When Sam and Dean are sent to Hell and Heaven respectively, Dean forms an angel cult to get his brother back. Very heartfelt zombie romance with lots of enticing quotes, imagery, and skillful depictions of their strange little bond. I'd say this skews more towards genfic than shipfic, but the undertones are there. I love the mythology in the snatches of rumors. Every bit as delightful and off the beaten path as anything written by the talented dear_tiger. Especially loved Jess and her whole deal

Atomic. bankrobbery is so good at desperate, terrifyingly good sex that the characters absolutely shouldn't be having. An amazing read
