Jason never thought he'd escape poverty, not when Roman Sionis was determined to keep everyone poor and desperate in order to make more money. The king of the land, Bruce Wayne, has something else to say on the matter of the carriage wheel thief.
Tim thought he'd be trapped as a servant forever, his parents had sold him to the palace years ago to be little more than a slave so that they could keep their manor. Jason wants to befriend the tiny child that always seems so tired, and will have a few choice words for Jack and Janet Drake when he finds out what they did.

Summary
Roy Harper knows what it means to be left out in the cold. It's brutal as an adult.
It's a Goddarned nightmare as a kid.
And after a chance encounter with Tim Drake gives the two a chance to grow closer, Roy and his very bad case of Dad Brain come to the realization that this kid has been without backup way too often, and for way, way too long.
Which means it's time to fix some schitt, even if he has to now run the least stealthy infiltration op ever to do it. Watch out, Wayne Manor; Roy's going to befriend those who are actually in charge, ignore those who aren't, and make everyone else get in friggin' line.
Because every kid needs a safe place to call home.

Bruce Wayne reacted badly to Jason’s death, they could all see, and it was perfectly understandable. But this couldn’t go on, a message that Dick and Alfred just barely manage to get across to him. So now, at least for a few months, Batman is retired until Bruce can properly mourn his lost son.
Tim Drake, now lacking his usual subject of interest on his nightly stalkings, turns his attention to the mysterious Red Hood who recently popped up in Crime Alley. However, he wasn’t expecting what he found instead: A brother.
