The current landlord—a man with a quirk that let him sweat sulfuric acid—didn't ask questions about the red shoes that climbed his stairs every night. He just took the cash Izuku earned from his various enterprises and pretended the kid didn't exist. That was the best you could hope for, as quirkless. Invisible was safe.
